Darren Bush has been appointed Consulting Director for Enrollment Management Services for focusEDU. Darren has had an exemplary and acclaimed 30+ year career that has included both leadership of EM engagements with public and private institutions.
For 20+ years, Darren worked as an Associate Director of Admissions at Ball State University (IN), and Director of Admissions at Indiana University (Kokomo), University of North Florida, University of Illinois (Springfield), and from 2012 he spent 7 years leading enrollment management operations as the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management Services at California State University, San Marcos.
In 2013, Darren made a career move with his enrollment management background and skill-sets to remain in the higher education profession as an independent consultant. During this time as an independent enrollment management consultant he worked at Vanguard University as Interim Vice President for Enrollment Management and Consultant to the President; four years as the Interim Vice President for Strategic Enrollment Management at California State University, Fullerton. From 2025 until February of 2026, Darren was the Interim Vice President for Enrollment at Stockton University in Galloway, NJ.
