Our Commitment

focusEDU is committed to ensuring focusedunow.com meets or exceeds WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Accessibility is part of how we build and maintain this site, not an afterthought. Higher-education works best when it works for everyone — including visitors using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, voice-control software, or other assistive technologies.

What We Do

Automated auditing on every deploy via accessibility scanning (axe-core, Lighthouse, pa11y) to catch regressions early.
Keyboard navigation across every interactive element, including skip-to-content links and visible focus indicators.
Semantic HTML with correct landmark roles, heading hierarchy, and ARIA labels where native semantics are insufficient.
Color contrast meeting 4.5:1 or better for body text and 3:1 or better for large text and non-text UI components.
Reduced-motion respect — animations honor the prefers-reduced-motion setting.
Alternative text for every meaningful image; decorative images marked as such.
Captions and transcripts for video content where available.

Known Limitations

We audit every page against the WCAG 2.2 AA checklist and remediate findings on a rolling basis. Some third-party embeds may introduce limitations outside our direct control; where possible we configure them for maximum accessibility (for example, descriptive iframe titles).
